About

Hi...

I’m Damien and I love weddings – who doesn’t?!

My passion is for videography and combining this with my love of a good wedding has led me down the path of creating wedding films.  It’s amazing to hear how happy people are when they see their film; and it’s such a pleasure to be part of such a special day.

My style can best be described as documentary and non-obtrusive; I keep everything on the day unscripted and natural.

FAQ

What areas and locations do you cover?

I’m based in Manchester, but cover the whole of the UK and worldwide. If it takes 2hrs or more to travel to your location then travel expenses will apply.

What type of film will I receive?

I produce candid, documentary style films which means that I capture all those little details that you’ve planned for the day. You can’t be everywhere after all. You’ll often forget I’m there as I like to blend in with the guests which allows me to film the real emotions and reactions. I won’t ask you to do any silly poses (unless you want to!) – I prefer to keep it super-relaxed and natural so that you can enjoy your day.

How long do you film for?

No matter what package you choose I always film the entire day from early morning prep right through to first dance or 9pm – whichever comes first.

Do we need to feed you?

It’s always nice to be fed but if this isn’t an option then I’m more than happy to bring my own food. I don’t like filming people eating – it doesn’t make for a great shot so I’ll take the same time out when the wedding breakfast is being served.

How long does it take to receive my film?

Typically I aim to get your fully edited film back to you within 8 weeks. This is subject to change and may vary depending on how busy a particular month is.

Can I choose my own music?

Unfortunately due to copyright restrictions the music used has to be licensed. Most pop songs and anything in the charts can’t be used (unless you’re happy to pay for the license – typically thousands). I have a music library of 30,000 songs so there shouldn’t be an issue and I always choose the music which fits the film mood and pace.

What format will I receive my film in?

All films are delivered digitally. This means you’ll be able to download straight away and view your film there and then on any device. Hard copies can be provided at a small extra cost.

Are you insured?

Yes – I have public liability insurance

Do we need to give a deposit?

Yes – I require a non-refundable £250 deposit to secure the day of your wedding. This books me out completely for that day. You can then pay the rest of the balance whenever you choose up until 30 days before the wedding.
